This is a unused, still in the original shipping crate, Bunting Magnetic Drawer Seperator.
The inlet and outlet ducts are 8" diameter.
Automatic Self-Cleaning, Pneumatically operated. Discontinuous operation. (meaning the material flow is momentarily stopped for the cleaning operation)
I talked with the manufacturer, and from the serial number they said this unit has 15 lbs of pull, NHI Magnets, and is classified as a Hi-Intensity unit.  The unit was made approximately 10 years ago. The unit has been stored in dry, heated, indoor storage ever since new. Crate was opened for the first time to get these pictures!   Unit is as new, except for one cracked air fitting (the crate is a very tight fit) as seen in the photo. This is a common 3/8" plastic push-on type air fitting that costs only a few dollars and is readily available.
This item is commonly used to remove possible foreign ferrous materials in any application with a dry, free falling product. Grains or flours, cereals, plastic pellets, etc.  I am familiar with these type units where they were used at a Kellogs Cereal factory. Numerous applications!
Cost when new (10 years ago) was ,400.  This is a great product for less than 1/3 the cost of new!
